First about Duodeka

We are a Venture Builder. This means that we are continuously launching and building new digital companies from one parent company – Duodeka. We co-found these companies with experienced entrepreneurs. We currently have three operating ventures: Mr. Winston, Minutes Software and Amigos.

There is a lot involved in founding a digital startup: concepting, validation, product development, software development, raising funding, marketing, etc. etc. Within Duodeka we have all these skills in our in-house venture building team. To make our team even stronger, we are looking for you 👇

Position

As a front-end developer At Duodeka you directly participate in the development of our own products. You translate the visual wishes into concrete functionality and design. You understand the flow of an application and can transform it into a perfect UX. You see that the complexity of applications is increasingly shifting from the backend to the frontend and you are not afraid to take on the associated challenges.

In addition, we offer the opportunity to grow into a role according to your wishes. Think of a managing position (team lead, project manager) or business analyst (intake, database design, requirements). In short, lots of room for (software) development!

Our MoSCoW list (feature requirements)

Must haves

• Good command of the Dutch and English language
• Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• Very proficient with HTML, css/sass
• A good eye for UI/UX and Design
• Solve problems independently

Should haves

• Experience with GIT (or other VCS)
• Translates customer wishes into concrete developments
• Understanding of commercial and business processes

(very) nice to have

Experience with:

• API interfacing (GraphQL or REST)
• Laravel, Meteor JS
• SQL (MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Database design, application structures and design patterns
• Project management (tools like JIRA)
• WordPress
